Artist bio

I am Ayesha Bakhtawar Saad. I am a mix media artist with a background in architecture and interior design. I paint my emotions and sometimes paint my emories in an abstract form. My works have a range of colours and is heavily textured and this is what excites me rather than sticking to one color palette. I sometimes do illustrations as well as I beleive in letting out my creativity through different channels.

I create art because...

I feel it is a very fast and easy way to let out my creativity, thought and emotions going on in my mind.

I am different to most artists because...

My work is heavily textured and I have a very wide color palette and working style.

When you look at my art, the thing I want you to feel is...

Wide array of colors and wide array of emotions. I dont like to stick to a very particular style or I am not there as yet to pick one style and be define by it.

The thing I most want to say to non-artists is...

Art lifts up a space. It has the power to brighten one's mood. One cannot underestmate the power or art. Art is everywhere and one cannot avoid it.

I believe art is an important part of our lives because...

the role of color and the way colors are composed in an overall picture can really uplift or delift the mood and is an integral part of psychology.
