Artist bio

Born in Germany into an artistic family, Daniela was surrounded by creativity from an early age . Now based in Melbourne ,she draws inspiration from the natural world around her-especially during dailwalks with her dogs . Painting is her meditation, a way to slow down and connect with the present. Working with ink , acrylic and mixed media , she approaches each piece intuitively allowing it to unfold through layered marks and spontaneous gestures.
Earthy tones , vibrant marks and shifting layers reflect the inner rhythm of thoughts and the outer rhythm of nature .
Through her paintings she invites viewers into that same sense of stillness, presence and quiet discovery.
