Laure Rachon
Artist bio
French-Australian Contemporary Artist.
Laure was born in Paris, France where she received an Art education. Her love for painting and Art has grown since childhood.
After travelling across Europe and Africa, Laure settled in Australia. Laure comes from a family of artists- painters and a sculptor.
She has developed specific techniques to paint maps of cities with her masterpiece being Paris.
Laure has also special interest in portraits.
In 2018, Laure donated a very significant painting of Paris for a fundraising campaign with Youth Project Melbourne contributing to the fight against homelessness in Melbourne. Her art was exhibited for one week at Pullman Hotel Melbourne.
Her Paris map series was exhibited with Saatchiart at the other Art fair Melbourne.
she was also finalist on line in a small scale Art Prize, Lethbridge gallery 2019 and 2020.
Lastly Laure acquired few badges / Mooc Contemporary Art with school of the Centre Pompidou Paris.
